So help me God.

These are the words we here everyday when we sing our national anthem, ans when new leaders are being sworn into office. After 50 years of existing as an independent nation, Nigerian leaders have failed us. We never compare in any ramifications to other countries that has the same potentials we have talk more of those countries who are less privileged in terms of natural endowment. At 50, Nigeria can still be classified as a fool owing to mismanagement and lack of direction from the self acclaimed leaders.

Mentioning all the lacks in Nigeria today, there would be another encyclopedia devoted to that. They are countless. Our children would never forgive us. Posterity has a big question for our leaders. What did they do with our massive natural resources. What institutions did they create to utilize these wealth and ensure their sustenance?

They are busy amassing wealth and laundering funds to foreign banks, building big structures in other countries at the detriment of our development, our education, our employment, our future...
A lot of big outlets in Malaysia and most European countries are linked to our past leaders who do so in connection with foreign nationals.

Our leaders both past and present need to be excommunicated and new breeds of people given the mantle of governance-they deserve to die. Below are some videos to tell you what we are crying about:

Yam, variously regarded as the king of crops or the symbol of wealth in Igbo cosmology occupies an enviable place in Igbo socio-cultural as well as economic life. Thus in the Anambra River basin areas, the highest title a man can aspire to take is Oba – Yam king. Indeed, so central is yam to Igbo socio-cultural life that almost all Igbo communities celebrate the new yam festival. In Anam, the new yam festival is called Otite and it is usually celebrated in the month of August every year. It is during the Otite that Anamites thank their Gods for granting them a bountiful harvest. Otite is usually fixed by the ruling age grade in Anam – Okpokolo and it is they who meet to examine the Igbo lunar calendar so as to ensure that Otite holds on the sacred market day of Eke.  Every titled man is expected to sacrif...

It is a yearly festival celebrated simultaneously in all the eight villages of Anam namely: Iyiorah, Mmiata, Oroma-Etiti, Umudora, Umuenwelum, Umueze, Umuikwu and Umuoba (i.e. going by ...
